OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Software Engineer to support our client's intelligence analysis products and capabilities. This position involves providing software development capabilities to enhance existing and emerging client capabilities, including design and development, modernization of existing applications and services, and operations and sustainment. The role focuses on driving the client's adaptation of higher levels of automation and operational efficiency through agile development methodologies, rapid prototyping, and modern technology stacks.

GENERAL DUTIES: Develop, modernize, and maintain software applications and services Contribute to the design and architecture of high-performance applications Leverage agile methodologies to enhance operational efficiency Participate in rapid prototyping to quickly iterate and improve solutions Utilize modern technology stacks to meet client needs Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical degree with 4+ years of experience in software engineering/development or Masters and with 2+ years of experience in software engineering/development Working in Agile environments Using GitLab for code source repository and using GitLab CI/CD Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python application/API development FastAPI Building high-performance applications in React.js Web services architecture, design, and development PostgreSQL database design AWS and specific AWS tooling (S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS) Developing customized code, scripts, modules, macro procedures, or libraries for specialized spatial analysis functions using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, C++, C#, Perl, or similar Key Technologies: Linux Java Containerization (Docker, Podmad, Kubernetes, ...)
