The Retail Sales Lead is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of OMNIA's retail locations (walk-up window, terrace retail and street retail), ensuring exceptional guest service, achievement of sales targets, operational excellence, inventory integrity, and compliance with visual merchandising standards. This role serves as the primary point of leadership on the sales floor and works closely with the Retail Manager to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiencies, and maintain a luxury retail experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Achieve sales targets and boost metrics via upselling, cross-selling, and guest engagement 
  • Lead, train, and motivate the team in fast-paced Nightlife/Daylife settings
  •  Support promotions, e-commerce, product launches, artist collaborations, and special events
  •   Maintain optimal stock levels/availability; ensure timely floor replenishment, and report low stock to the Retail Manager
  • Conduct frequent inventory counts, audits, and damage/loss reporting
  •  Secure all merchandise, showcases, POS, and storage areas
  • Manage proper stock handling, storage, and rotation
  • Recommend improvements for product mix, assortment, and cost efficiency
  • Execute VM guidelines to maintain a clean, fully stocked, visually compelling, and "guest-ready" space reflecting Tao Group Hospitality standards
  • Optimize product placement, signage, pricing, and promotional accuracy to maximize guest connection and visibility
  • Assist in the supervision of daily operations, delegate tasks, assign locations
  • Onboard, train, and coach team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and venue procedures to boost productivity
  • Foster a positive, professional, accountable, and collaborative environment by leading by example
  •  Deliver exceptional hospitality, anticipate/accommodate guest needs via consultative selling, build loyalty, and promptly resolve issues
  • Oversee overall store readiness; ensure strict compliance with company policies, brand standards, and venue/safety guidelines 
  • Maintain proper cash handling, payment card procedures, and accurate end-of-shift financial reconciliations
  •  Support operational audits, loss prevention initiatives, and ensure all merchandise is accurately priced
  • Provide updates on sales, inventory, and staffing; assist with weekly sales/inventory reports
  • Promptly report breakage, damage, maintenance, or guest issues to venue management
  • Maintain general knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, partners, and hotel environments
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury, nightlife, hospitality, or high-volume environments
  • Strong background in retail merchandising, sales, and inventory management
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
