8 10+ Years Functional candidates will be assessed on their competency of mentioned technical skills as well Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Finance Consultant to lead the support, enhancement, and implementation of our Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 / 12.2.x) Financial modules.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business processes and technical architecture, translating financial requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, E-Biz Tax) alongside strong technical proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, and Workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Business Support

Provide primary support for Oracle EBS Financial modules, addressing daily incidents, enhancements, and period-close activities.

Work directly with business users and finance teams to analyze business processes, perform fit/gap analyses, and gather requirements.

Lead requirements-gathering workshops and document specifications using standard methodologies (AIM/OUM e.g., BR100, MD050, MD070, TE040).

Support key financial operations including Month-End/Year-End closing, Bank Integrations, and Account Reconciliation.

Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training sessions. Technical Design & Development

Design, develop, customize, and maintain RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).

Build complex database objects using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (Packages, Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views).

Develop and maintain custom reports and document templates using BI/XML Publisher and Oracle Reports.

Build and manage inbound/outbound integrations using APIs, Web Services, and interface tables to connect Oracle EBS with 3rd party applications.

Perform performance tuning on SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and custom reports to optimize system execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional Expertise Oracle EBS Version: 5+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS R12 (12.1.3 or 12.2.x preferred).

Core Financial Modules: Deep functional knowledge in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA).

Strong understanding of accounting principles, trial balance reconciliation, subledger reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows.

Technical Expertise

Languages & DB: Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

Tools & Frameworks:

Oracle Developer Suite (Forms & Reports), BI/XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow Builder, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework).

Utilities: FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting

Soft Skills & Education

Education:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

Excellent problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and communication skills to interface with business executives and technical teams alike.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Oracle Projects (PA), Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS), or E-Business Tax (EBTax).
