Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Fusion SCM & APEX Developer to assist with the design and build of a custom manufacturing execution system. The role involves delivering high-quality technical solutions for Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management and APEX-based extensions, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work closely with functional business analysts to gather requirements. Lead design discussions with stakeholders
โ€ข Design, develop, and enhance Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management technical solutions under approved architecture and standards
โ€ข Develop Fusion-compliant technical extensions using approved tools such as APEX, Visual Builder, BI Publisher, and REST services
โ€ข Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls for Fusion extensions and APEX applications
โ€ข Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for Fusion and APEX components
โ€ข Analyze and resolve defects and production issues related to Fusion SCM and APEX extensions
โ€ข Support Fusion quarterly update cycles by performing impact analysis, regression testing, and remediation for assigned components
โ€ข Optimize performance of APEX applications, Fusion integrations, and custom extensions
โ€ข Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components, integrations, and support procedures
โ€ข Participate in code reviews and design walkthroughs, providing constructive technical feedback
โ€ข Follow established development standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes
โ€ข Collaborate closely with functional analysts, QA teams, and integration partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
โ€ข Create a bridge between the business and developers and lead the technical effort from conception to completion.
โ€ข Assist in knowledge transfer, code review and mentoring of junior developers as needed
โ€ข Identify opportunities to simplify solutions by leveraging Fusion standard capabilities and low-code tools
โ€ข Support deployment activities, cutovers, and post-go-live stabilization for shop floor solutions
โ€ข Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to functional, operations, and business stakeholders
โ€ข Ability to work calmly and effectively in high-pressure shop floor and production-support situations
โ€ข Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM / Manufacturing modules
โ€ข Experience developing Fusion technical extensions
โ€ข Solid expertise in Oracle APEX (Application Express) for enterprise applications
โ€ข Experience with SQL and PL/SQL
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
โ€ข 6โ€“10 years of overall ERP or enterprise application development experience
โ€ข 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion and cloud-based integration experience
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience supporting Fusion quarterly updates
โ€ข Prior experience working in hybrid EBSโ€“Fusion environments
โ€ข Understand Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
