Job description

Job Summary:

The Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Oracle databases and applications, ensuring their smooth operation and performance. This role involves level 3 support troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and providing technical support to end-users. This IT professional will manage collaboration between our client’s associates, Oracle, and our managed services teams. They are responsible for provisioning, installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining our client’s Oracle applications. They will also be responsible for supporting the IT Operations Manager in documenting, updating, and publishing key Oracle processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the issue and documenting the resolutions and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and maintain Oracle applications to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement database changes and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. 

Qualifications:

  • Functional knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  • Has experience in Oracle WMS and Oracle OTM cloud applications
  • Trouble shooting skills in Integrations from Legacy and peripheral systems
  • Has understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) processes 
  • Ability to work on production incidents using Service Now and JIRA (Atlassian tool)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, leading and delivering robust large-scale Oracle ERP solutions including digital transformations, Integrations and scalable data solutions.
  • Passionate about driving business value, optimizing processes, building high-performing teams and fostering innovation through best practices and modern technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
