Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle database administration, database migration, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability. The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise Oracle environments, executing database migration projects, and ensuring database security, reliability, and optimal performance.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database migration and upgrades.
  • Experience supporting production Oracle database environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments.

  • Configure and maintain Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance.
  • Analyze AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement database security, user management, and access controls.
  • Develop Shell and SQL scripts to automate routine database administration tasks.
  • Support production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
  • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams during migration and deployment activities.
  • Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and migration runbooks.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and scheduled maintenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
