POSITION DETAIL
Job Title: Oracle OBIEE Developer
Location: Remote
Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5+ years)
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an Oracle OBIEE Developer to design, build, and maintain our enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for developing robust metadata repositories (RPD), designing interactive dashboards, and ensuring high-performance data delivery to support business decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • RPD Development: Design and maintain the OBIEE Metadata Repository (Physical, BMM, and Presentation layers).
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and pixel-perfect reports using BI Publisher.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize complex SQL queries, implement caching, and tune dashboards for maximum speed.
  • Security & Admin: Configure object-level and data-level security using WebLogic and Enterprise Manager.
  • Modernization: Support future migrations from OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Cloud (OAC).

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with OBIEE 11g/12c architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, advanced SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas).
  • Experience with BI Publisher for formatted reporting.
  • Pluses: Experience with ODI, OAC/OAS, or Oracle EBS data models.
