Job description


The intern will support the Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Services (AHCS) modules by assisting with system setup and maintenance, monitoring and resolving errors, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with Oracle Cloud financial applications while developing technical, analytical, and business process knowledge.
Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
Responsibilities
  • Provide functional support for Oracle GL and AHCS modules, including system setup, and configuration

  • Manage and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to Oracle Finance systems, documenting issues and assisting with resolution efforts

  • Monitor and maintain Autopost scheduling to ensure journals are posted in a timely manner

  • Analyze Cross Validation Rules (CVRs) by assisting with corrections or updates

  • Upload corporate accounting rates within the Oracle system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with finance requirements

  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to gain exposure to additional financial modules

  • Provide end-user support for basic Oracle GL and AHCS functionality

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor's program or higher with a focus in Finance, Accounting or IT. Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Must have the ability to work a minimum of one (1) year
  • Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)

Preferred
  • Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program
  • Have prior school or work experience in finance, accounting, or business
  • Previous experience in the Sherwin-Williams Corporate Finance Internship Program
  • Experience in Oracle or another ERP system
