This role will focus on the architecture, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Financials, EPM, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and Tax solutions.
The Finance Architect will provide both functional and technical leadership across Finance and related Oracle Cloud solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, technical teams, and implementation partners. The architect will translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions, establish solution architecture and design standards, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and enterprise architecture.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Finance experience combined with the ability to understand business processes, lead solution design, evaluate technical alternatives, and work effectively across functional and technical teams.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance solutions, with responsibility across key areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Tax, and Financial Reporting.
  • Provide functional and technical architecture leadership across Oracle Fusion Financials, EPM, EDM, and Tax, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Lead solution architecture and design activities, including application configuration, integrations, reporting, data conversion, extensions, and security, while determining when to leverage standard Oracle functionality versus custom solutions.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Oracle Fusion Finance, EPM, EDM, Tax, other Oracle Fusion applications, and external systems.
  • Review functional and technical specifications and provide guidance to development, integration, and implementation teams.
  • Lead or support CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, production readiness, and post-production support activities.
  • Analyze and resolve complex functional and technical issues, providing recommendations that consider business impact, scalability, maintainability, security, and supportability.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, developers, integration teams, DBAs, implementation partners, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Establish and maintain architecture, integration, development, and governance standards, including solution designs, reference architectures, and related technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the Oracle Cloud roadmap and evaluate quarterly updates, new capabilities, and emerging technologies for their potential business value and impact.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction to product and implementation teams.
  • Ensure Oracle Cloud solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 10 years of relevant experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Eight years of applicable business, systems development, or enterprise application experience, with significant Oracle experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing, architecting, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, with demonstrated expertise across both functional and technical aspects of the platform.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and Tax, including their integration with Finance and enterprise business processes.
  • Experience designing and implementing Oracle Fusion integrations using OIC and other Oracle integration technologies, including integrations with EPM, EDM, Tax, other Fusion applications, and external systems.
  • Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, data conversion and migration, security, and Oracle Fusion enterprise architecture.
  • Experience leading solutions through the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, production support, and collaboration with implementation partners and cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Experience with Oracle quarterly updates and assessing their impact on Finance and related Oracle Cloud solutions.
