Finance Lead - Oracle ERP Implementation

Hybrid | Alexandria, VA | Public Sector Projects

A consulting team supporting public sector clients is seeking an experienced Finance Lead - Oracle ERP Implementation to guide complex, full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Finance implementations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Oracle professional who thrives in enterprise environments and enjoys leading implementations from initial requirements through successful deployment. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver scalable Oracle ERP solutions that support mission-critical financial operations.

The role follows a hybrid schedule, alternating one week remote and one week on-site in Alexandria, VA, with travel expenses fully covered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional implementation efforts across complex, full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Finance projects
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, business process design, and solution configuration
  • Manage the full Oracle ERP deployment lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and cutover
  • Create and maintain Configuration Workbooks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle ERP solutions with additional enterprise systems
  • Oversee data conversion and interface development across Oracle Cloud Finance modules
  • Support successful project delivery for public sector clients
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Oracle implementation experience
  • 7+ years leading Oracle ERP deployments
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Finance modules, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Procurement (PO)
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Analytics
  • Proven experience managing data conversion and system interfaces
  • Public sector accounting experience required
  • Experience with Projects and Grants modules required
  • Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, VA approximately 50% of the time (alternating weeks remote)
  • Public sector implementation experience is strongly preferred.
