Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale migrations from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record managing full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud transformation projects while coordinating business, functional, technical, and third-party implementation teams.

The Project Manager will own overall project delivery, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, governance, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring successful delivery through go-live and stabilization.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration and implementation projects.

  • Establish project governance, delivery methodology, milestones, and success criteria.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, schedules, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Monitor project scope and manage changes through formal change control processes.

  • Define and track critical paths, dependencies, milestones, and go-live activities using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar PPM platforms.

  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies.

  • Coordinate across Oracle functional domain leads, technical teams, business stakeholders, and system integrators.

  • Manage resource allocation, scheduling, deliverables, and cross-functional team performance.

  • Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive-level reporting.

  • Ensure effective communication of project progress, risks, decisions, and action items to stakeholders.

  • Oversee testing, data migration, integrations, cutover, deployment, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, scope, timeline, and budget expectations.

  • Drive issue resolution and contingency planning to maintain project timelines.

  • Manage vendor and system integrator relationships, deliverables, and performance.

  • Ensure project documentation, governance standards, and compliance requirements are maintained throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with significant experience managing ERP implementations or transformations.

  • Proven experience managing Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migrations.

  • Experience leading full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP functional and technical workstreams.

  • Experience managing large, cross-functional teams across business and IT organizations.

  • Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and change control.

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or other PPM/project management tools.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

  • Experience working with system integrators, vendors, and third-party implementation partners.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

  • Oracle Cloud ERP certification or relevant Oracle implementation experience.

  • Experience with enterprise-scale ERP modernization and cloud transformation programs.

  • Experience managing data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
