Job Summary: Technofunctional Oracle Cloud Payroll Consultant
About the Role
Join a dynamic HR technology team as a Technofunctional Oracle Cloud Payroll Consultant, vital to our ongoing Oracle HCM Fusion journey. As the organization expands its in-house capabilities, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing payroll operations and integrating over 200 vendors within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, NC (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll, leveraging deep functional and technical knowledge
- Advise on design, troubleshooting, and holistic solutioning to drive payroll process excellence
- Configure, test, and enhance Oracle HCM Fusion applications to ensure robust payroll performance
- Oversee successful application upgrades, preventing system disruptions
- Document build requirements for technical development and reporting needs
- Support the integration of multiple vendors to streamline HR and payroll functions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain application stability and resolve complex challenges
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of hands-on Oracle Cloud HCM experience, specializing in Payroll
- Expertise in Payroll Processing, US Tax regulations, and Payroll Accounting
- Strong background in HR, Compensation, and Payroll module integrations
- Demonstrated proficiency in Elements creation, Fast Formulas, HDL/HSDL, HCM Extract, OTBI, and BI Publisher
- Solid understanding of Oracle HCM database tables, ideally with Oracle EBS experience
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Cloud Payroll Practitioner certification
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Working knowledge of PL-SQL
