Job description

Job Summary:
HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm, and they are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Developer. The role involves the analysis, design, development, and testing of Oracle E-Business Suite for large medical claims processing systems, including new system implementation and operations and maintenance of existing systems.
Responsibilities:
• Under no supervision, works with clearly defined guidelines to support system design, develop, and implement components of the Oracle E-Business Suite and maintain or modify Oracle Financial Applications as required.
• Develop and implement Oracle EBS R12 Interfaces, extensions, modifications, localization, and integrations using PL/SQL, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and the overall Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
• Perform Functional Setups of Oracle E-Business Suite Applications and work on Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, and GL)
• Develop program units in R12 as per Oracle Application custom standards
• Works collaboratively with Development team and Business Analysis team to understand system design and function
• Develops code per the system design and coding standards under minimal supervision and performs unit testing
• Analyzes code to review errors and participates in review sessions
• Works on Proof of Concepts and new initiatives
• Support System Integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance testing of the Oracle Financial Applications
• Create and maintain artifacts as needed by the project
• Update Lead/Manager of all Oracle Financial Applications related activities, issues, and risks
• Work with offshore team to complete development activities
• Perform gap analysis and impact of system software changes
Qualifications:
Required:
• Have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of work experience as related to the job responsibilities listed above
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Good Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
• Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs
• Experience with agile development methodologies
Preferred:
• Experience in EBS custom development methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques
• Experience in Oracle R12 technical architecture and Financials modules
• Experience in setting up Alerts, perform Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) & Forms personalization
• Knowledge of Oracle Standard APIs and Open Interfaces
• Experience in developing Interfaces, Customizations, Conversions, Extensions, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
• Ability to work well with teams
• Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable to project and task changes, ability to multitask
• Ability to work within project plans and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates analytical skills and thinking
