Role Overview:
The Oracle Field Service Consultant will lead implementation and enhancement projects for Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFS) solutions. This role involves configuring OFS to meet operational and business requirements, optimizing mobile workforce management, and integrating OFS with other Oracle enterprise systems. The consultant will support large-scale field operations, particularly within infrastructure, EPC, and utility sectors, focusing on scheduling, dispatch, and mobile workforce capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Oracle Field Service Cloud implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Conduct business requirement workshops with stakeholders and configure OFS.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Support solution design, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
  • Configure workforce structures, work zones, shifts, calendars, and travel parameters.
  • Optimize workforce utilization and productivity.
  • Configure routing and scheduling rules and implement automated dispatch optimization.
  • Manage Work Orders, Service Appointments, Crew Assignments, and Emergency Field Requests.
  • Support field operations related to utility construction, power delivery, pipeline, network infrastructure, renewable energy, and data center projects.
  • Configure Oracle Field Service Mobility for work order execution, asset inspections, material consumption, time reporting, photo capture, and GPS tracking.
  • Integrate OFS with Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle SCM Cloud, Oracle Projects (PPM), Oracle Maintenance Cloud, and CRM Applications.
  • Develop operational dashboards and reports, monitoring KPIs such as technician utilization and SLA performance.
  • Develop test scenarios and scripts, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolve production issues, and train users.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of Oracle Field Service consulting experience.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Field Service Cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of mobile workforce management.
  • Experience in field operations and dispatch processes.
  • Knowledge of service lifecycle management.
  • Mandatory Oracle Skills: Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFS), Routing & Scheduling, Capacity Management, Mobility Configuration, Resource Management, Work Order Management, Dispatch Console.
  • Technical Skills: Oracle Field Service Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Services, Data Migration, Workflow Configuration, Mobile Application Configuration, Reporting & Analytics.

  • Strong integration experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Experience supporting large field-service or EPC organizations.
  • Proven expertise in workforce optimization, scheduling, dispatching, and mobile field operations.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience within EPC, Infrastructure Construction, Utilities, Energy, Telecommunications, Power Delivery Organizations.
  • Oracle Field Service Cloud Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
  • Preferred Oracle Skills: Oracle Fusion SCM, Oracle Maintenance Cloud, Oracle PPM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ERP Cloud.
