Role Title: Senior Oracle DBA
Location: Remote
Mandatory skills: GoldenGate, Oracle Exadata, Core Oracle, ASM/Oracle Dataguard
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, monitor, and support Oracle Database environments (11g/12c/19c/21c).
• Manage and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication (Uni-directional and Bi-directional environments).
• Administer and support Oracle Exadata infrastructure and databases.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
• Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, migration, cloning, and refresh activities.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and OEM.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and perform disaster recovery testing.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions using Data Guard.
• Support production incidents, service requests, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams during deployments and migrations.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell Scripting and Oracle utilities.
• Ensure database security, compliance, and operational best practices.
