Job Summary:
Thorndale Partners is seeking a Jr โ€“ Mid level Oracle Programmer/Analyst to join their team. The role involves participating in all phases of the IT project life cycle, designing and developing Oracle E-Business Suite applications, and maintaining integrations with internal and external systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Participate in all phases of the IT project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and software product deployment.
โ€ข Design, develop and maintain interfaces, extensions, and integration of Oracle e-Business Suite applications with internal and external systems.
โ€ข Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, record types, and hints for performance tuning using PL/SQL with Oracle Database.
โ€ข Leverage multiple tools including Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflows, OAF, JDeveloper, TOAD, SQL Developer, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, and SQL*Loader.
โ€ข Develop custom OAF pages as per business requirements and customize existing OAF pages in Oracle E-Business Suite using extensions and personalization's.
โ€ข Customize existing Oracle Forms as per business requirements and forms personalization using Oracle Form Builder.
โ€ข Create/modify processes, functions, and roles in Oracle Workflows to modify the existing functionality using Oracle Workflow Builder.
โ€ข Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to application outages following the appropriate processes.
โ€ข Ability to adapt and learn technology based on needs of the team/organization.
โ€ข With limited guidance, perform defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues.
โ€ข Work with teammates to gain understanding of systems while conducting root cause analysis of issues, reviewing new and existing code and/or performing unit testing.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology/related field OR four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
โ€ข 3 to 5 years of software engineering/development experience
โ€ข 1-3 years' experience with EBS development tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
โ€ข Position requires demonstrable experience and proficiency with the following: Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2+, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Oracle Workflows, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Webadi, SQL & PL/SQL
