Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Oracle Database Administrator certified 11G, 12C, 19
- Database knowledge in MongoDB, MSSQL Server, Big Query, SQL Server for Cloud
- Minimum of 2 years at Level 3 support
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to think independently to ensure solutions are achieved.
- Comfortable working within large groups, curious to raise questions when clarity is needed and able to ask for help where required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team environment where solutions may come from multiple areas
- Curious approach to problem solving with a desire for quality and avoiding repeat incidents.
- Ability to lead Incident and problem calls from a database perspective. Not afraid to speak opinions amongst senior stakeholders
Roles & Responsibilities
• Represent and Lead Database engagement on technical bridges for major incidents for Corporate Banking impacted applications
• Manage a book of work for support requests and escalations
• Troubleshoot and investigate unbounded requests, utilizing your expertise to gain clarity and conclusion
• Be a point of reference for non-technical teams on the topic of Database usage, sharing your knowledge so that others within the team and beyond gain better understanding of the technology
• Working across technical teams (Unix, Storage, Networks etc.) to ensure resolution is achieved.
• Working and leading projects improving database hygiene, proactive database improvements and migrations
• Desire to offer a first-class service in your area of technical expertise to restore application stability for business.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000 per year
