Job description

Work with application developers to create optimized queries
• Create database triggers, table indexes and programming views, stored procedures, and functions
• Develops database designs based on business requirements.
• Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met.
• Builds database structures based on detailed design.
• Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results. Provides support during the system implementation and production.
• Suggests new features, coding techniques and reference material. Identifies gaps in scripts and procedures.
• Suggests options for implementation of features.
• Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-level application and data architectures.
• Strong focus on collaboration and enablement of team based development.
• Delivery focus in a high velocity, high quality environment.
• Must be able to work in highly iterative development cycles.
• Working in an Agile/Devops environment
• Have an excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create test cases
• Nice to have is conversion from oracle to Postgres
