Oracle ERP & EPM Systems Analyst
The New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is a public benefit corporation and the nation's largest municipal Housing Finance Agency. HDC's programs support the construction and preservation of multi-family affordable housing in New York City.

Position Summary:
The Oracle Financial ERP and EPM Support Specialist reports directly to the Vice President, Enterprise Architecture and plays a critical role in supporting, modernizing, and advancing the organization's financial systems and analytics platforms.
This role provides operational support for Oracle ERP and EPM platforms while increasingly focusing on enterprise analytics, automation, AI-enabled insights, and integration with the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong Oracle Financials expertise with modern BI, scripting, and cloud skills, and demonstrates the ability to evaluate industry trends, adopt emerging technologies, and translate them into practical, secure enterprise solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Oracle Financial Systems & EPM
  • Provide functional and technical support for Oracle ERP Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing.
  • Support, configure, and enhance Oracle EPM modules, including reconciliations and financial close processes.
  • Maintain integrations between ERP, EPM, and downstream reporting platforms.
  • Assist with annual 1099 processing, validation, corrections, and vendor communications.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to resolve transactional issues, reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies with Emphasys Debt and Investment applications and Benedict Loan Servicing application.
Reporting, Analytics & Data Enablement
  • Design, develop, and support enterprise reporting solutions using, Oracle Analytics / OBIEE, Oracle Data Visualizer, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) and Microsoft Power BI
  • Support financial and operational analytics, including executive and audit-ready reporting.
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to translate reporting needs into scalable data models.
  • Support generation and distribution of Asset Management letters, notices, and other correspondence, including required emails and audit-related documentation.
Data Integration, Automation & Scripting
  • Develop and maintain ETL and data pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and SQL-based solutions.
  • Perform advanced SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, shell scripting) to automate data processing, validation, reconciliations, and reporting workflows.
  • Support and maintain critical financial system interfaces, including the Builders Patch and Benedict interface, ensuring accurate and timely data flow between systems.
AI, Microsoft Ecosystem & Future-State Enablement
  • Contribute to the adoption of AI-enabled analytics
  • Support integration with Microsoft tools and platforms, including Power BI, Azure services, and Power Platform components.
  • Stay current with Oracle and Microsoft product roadmaps and industry trends, proactively recommending enhancements and modernization opportunities.
Collaboration & Governance
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, and IT PMO teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Document solutions, processes, and technical designs to support auditability and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP Financial modules like GL, AR, AP, PO and EPM modules bank reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in report development using tools like Power BI, OBIA, OBIEE, and data visualization.
  • Working with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) would be a plus.
  • Strong SQL/PLSQL database programming skills.
  • Strong Object-oriented programming skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of financial data.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Platforms.
  • Exposure to Enterprise AI tools and platforms.
  • Experience modernizing legacy reporting or analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and audit requirements.
  • Relevant Oracle, Microsoft, or cloud certifications.
