Job Description:

  • Optimize database and query performance to meet strict SLAs eg 2 seconds response time
  • Analyze execution plans and recommend strategies for indexing partitioning and query optimization
  • Collaborate with DBAs to validate and implement performance tuning recommendations
  • Oversee and enhance ETLELT workflows using Oracle Data Integrator ODI ensuring scalability efficiency and data quality
  • Leverage AWS services S3 Redshift Glue Lambda DMS for cloudbased data ingestion transformation and storage
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Translate complex technical decisions into clear actionable insights for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Ensure data solutions align with business goals compliance standards and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in data engineering within enterprisescale environments
  • Proven expertise in Oracle performance tuning including query optimization execution plans indexing partitioning and parallelism
  • Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
  • Strong proficiency in understanding writing and debugging Stored Procedures Functions etc
  • Handson experience with Oracle Data Integrator ODI
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse design ETLELT processes and data modeling
  • Experience with AWS data services S3 Redshift Glue Lambda DMS
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including mentoring and guiding technical teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
