Job description

Kearney & Company is seeking an Oracle Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the DEAMS FMO Reports team, interacting closely with Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) to support the development and deployment of the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS). You will provide critical business development assistance to guide project teams through approved phases of DEAMS ERP governance, including requirements definition, OBIEE/OAS report development, testing, problem-solving, and end-user training. Other responsibilities may include:
  • Create, modify, and monitor OBIEE/OAS reports.
  • Perform ad-hoc query research and advanced data analysis.
  • Validate data integrity by developing complex Structured Query Language (SQL) to ensure accurate data granularity between the core system and reporting outputs.
  • Resolve complex reporting issues escalated from the help desk, accurately distinguishing between operational user errors and systemic flaws.
  • Review tickets to determine if architectural design changes are required.
  • Research and optimize SQL used within the reporting environment.
  • Develop requirements and execute functional and performance testing for DEAMS reports.
  • Review technical and functional design documents.
  • Participate in process improvement workshops to identify gaps, document workflows, and engineer effective solutions.
  • Apply Agile software development practices, leveraging Scrum-based methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver reporting solutions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of operational and design experience within Oracle ERP Applications, with specific experience in Oracle R12.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Business Intelligence Applications, Oracle Discoverer, and OBIEE/OAS.
  • Advanced ability to write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Air Force Financial Management processes.
  • Familiarity with core financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects, Purchasing, and Fixed Assets.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required to support DEAMS deployment activities at various locations
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
