Job description

Role Overview:
This role is for an experienced Oracle ERP (Cloud) Finance Consultant with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Subledger Accounting, and Financial Reporting. The consultant will provide end-to-end finance process support, manage month-end close activities, troubleshoot issues, and engage directly with business stakeholders for daily operations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with Finance Controllers, Accounting teams, and business stakeholders to understand financial processes and requirements.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, and solution design discussions.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle ERP functional solutions.
  • Provide advisory support on finance best practices and process optimization.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Facilitate journal entry validation and posting.
  • Facilitate reconciliations (GL vs subledger).
  • Facilitate intercompany transactions.
  • Facilitate accruals and adjustments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and close cycle execution.
  • Prepare financial reports (GL, AP, AR, FA).
  • Prepare subledger reconciliation reports.
  • Develop custom and standard reports using BI Publisher / OTBI / Oracle reporting tools.
  • Experience in production support and incident resolution models.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBS R12 / Fusion Cloud Financials).
  • Strong hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Subledger Accounting.
  • Expertise in financial close processes and reconciliations.
  • Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles.
  • Experience in Oracle reporting tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL-based reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in managing mergers and acquisitions.
