Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to support and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments in a hybrid role based in California. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong experience in Oracle Apps administration, patching, cloning, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 / 11i) environments (DEV, TEST, PROD)
  • Perform cloning, patching, AutoConfig, and routine Oracle Apps DBA administration
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Concurrent Manager, application tier, and database tier issues
  • Support Oracle database administration, including backup/recovery and performance tuning
  • Work with infrastructure and application teams on deployments, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Provide production support for critical Oracle-based business applications

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or 11i
  • Experience with cloning, patching, AD utilities, and AutoConfig
  • Strong Oracle database support skills (11g/12c preferred)
  • Experience in Linux/Unix environments
  • Scripting skills in Shell and SQL
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
