Oracle Application Developer/Senior Migration Specialist

About the Opportunity
As a Senior Migration, you will be an important member of the leadership team that consults on behalf of leading pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology companies. Responsibilities will include preparing engagement estimates, leading workshops and migration teams and consulting for data/document migrations.
Role Description and Objectives
Responsible for the development, tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle application code (Packages, queries, Procedures, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
  • PL/SQL and SQL coding, tuning and troubleshooting
  • Conform to SQL and PL/SQL coding standards and best practices
  • Writing Complex SQL queries to migrate over to the Application
  • Assist in database design and application development
  • Create and maintain all necessary documentation

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in Oracle development with specific focus on:
• PL/SQL and SQL coding, tuning and troubleshooting
• Excellent SQL tuning skills in Oracle environments
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
• Understanding of concepts and Database design
• Strong command of English language, both oral and written
• Excellent self-tasking and team work skills
Education Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
