Position: Oracle Apex Programmer
LOcation: Norwalk, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Skills Required:
Skill to design, develop, new and enhanced complex web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX 19.1 or related), Oracle Database 12c (or later versions), SQL, PL/SQL, CSS, JavaScript , and HTML. - Skill working with software tools such as TOAD or SQL Developer. - Skill to develop and maintain financial applications using Oracle General Ledger (GL), Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle E-Business Suite. - Ability to work with end users, supervisors, and managers to develop and maintain custom workflow and non-workflow applications. - Ability to write System Level Documentation, which will include development, maintenance, including flow charts and detailed logic specifications using Microsoft Office Products. - Ability to develop test plan, conduct test and test output for program/system accuracy; and ensure database compliance and security. - Ability to provide on demand project reports to ensure project timelines are met and report any issues to the Project Manager. - Ability to provide training to the Application Development Team in the maintenance and support of the developed applications. - Skill to serve as a technical resource for other members of the Application Development Team. Mentor other team developers in adhering to coding standards and best practices development methodology.
Five (5) years, experience within the last seven (7) years, in application analysis, design, programming and implementation. - Four (4) years, experience within the last six (6) years, developing web applications by using Oracle Application Express (APEX 19.1 or related), Oracle Database 12c (or later versions) architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML. - Two (2) years, experience within the last five (5) years supporting, maintaining, and developing applications using Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Oracle E-Business Suite. - One (1) year, experience out of the last four (4) years, using Bl Publisher.
Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Computer Sciences. Diplomas must be provided upon request.
