Senior Techno-Functional Oracle Consultant

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Techno-Functional Oracle Consultant who possesses a strong blend of business process expertise and Oracle technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Oracle solutions effectively support enterprise operations across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, and Project Management functions.
This role requires deep understanding of Oracle applications, business process transformation, system configuration, integrations, reporting, data migration, and technical troubleshooting. The consultant will lead solution design, implementation, optimization, and support activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The preferred location for this position is Deerfield Beach, FL however, this position can be performed from any US CGI Office with monthly travel to the client site.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, document, and optimize business processes.
• Provide functional expertise across Oracle modules such as:
• Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Procurement, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Projects/PPM, Inventory and Order Management
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translating business needs into system solutions.
• Configure Oracle applications to support business requirements and industry best practices.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Develop functional specifications, process flows, training materials, and user documentation.
• Advise leadership on Oracle product capabilities, enhancements, and roadmap alignment.
Technical Responsibilities
• Design and support integrations between Oracle applications and third-party systems.
• Development and troubleshoot: SQL queries, Reports, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, Interfaces and APIs, Data conversion and migration scripts
• Work with Oracle integration technologies such as: REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Middleware solutions
• Support workflow configuration, approvals, notifications, and automation.
• Manage security roles, data access controls, and user provisioning.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution for production issues.
• Collaborate with developers and architects on extensions, customizations, and technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of Oracle ERP/HCM/SCM techno-functional experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and Oracle application architecture.
• Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite modules.
• Proficiency in: SQL, Reporting tools, Data migration methodologies
• APIs and integrations
• Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies such as: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI/ADFDI
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oracle Cloud certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Exposure to multi-country/global ERP implementations.
• Knowledge of emerging Oracle technologies and AI-driven automation capabilities.
• Experience leading end-to-end Oracle implementations or major transformation initiatives.
