St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent’s is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the system’s second-largest hospital.

Position Summary:

The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. Our OR Techs operate specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, C-Arms and mini C-Arm cases. You will collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases. Our OR Radiologic Technologists perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams as needed. 


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Minimum of 2 years of completed experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
