About the Role:
Were on the lookout for a detail-oriented and dependable Optometric Assistant to join our small, dedicated team at Optometry Care! What Youll Be Doing:
- Scheduling Appointments, Verifying Insurance
- Performing pre-testing and gathering patient history
- Assisting the doctor with eye exams and diagnostic testing (like visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, etc.)
- Training patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day
- 5 days, including some saturdays
- Has at least 12 years of experience as an optometric technician or optometric assistant
- Is comfortable using optometric equipment and exam software
- Is a strong communicator with a passion for patient care
- Is organized, reliable, and a team player
- Has a high school diploma (or equivalent)
