At Optiver, you will find an environment of collaboration and passion for solving challenging problems. As a leading technology and research-driven trading firm, we combine diverse skill sets, unique minds and a desire to be better. Our recruitment team must continuously think deeply about how to identify, engage, attract and assess this talent. Experienced talent is one of the foundational pillars to our recruitment strategy. That's where you come in.

You will work closely with leaders across the business on what is needed now and into the future. This role will focus on technology recruitment.
What you'll do
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you'll work alongside a passionate team of specialists, focusing on key areas that contribute to the team's goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, providing market insights, coaching on hiring best practices, and guiding hiring decisions through data and expertise
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent, leveraging market mapping, referrals, research, and creative outreach to build high-quality pipelines
  • Take a data-driven approach to monitoring pipeline health, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform hiring strategy
  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance, representing Optiver's culture throughout the recruitment journey

What you'll get
You'll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem-solvers. Motivated by a passion for continuous improvement, you'll thrive in a supportive, high-performing environment alongside talented colleagues, collectively tackling some of the toughest challenges in the financial markets.
In addition, you'll receive:
  • The opportunity to work alongside best-in-class professionals from over 40 different countries
  • Highly competitive compensation package including performance-based bonus
  • 401(k) match up to 50%
  • Comprehensive health, mental, dental, vision, disability, and life coverage
  • 25 paid vacation days alongside market holidays
  • Extensive office perks, including breakfast, lunch and snacks, regular social events, clubs, sporting leagues and more

Who you are
  • 6+ years experience in full-cycle recruitment for experienced talent, ideally in-house and within financial services, technology, or professional services
  • Past experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally within a competitive industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of the talent markets for engineers in software and hardware domains is highly advantageous
  • A consultative approach with demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep experience with applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse is a plus) and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • The ability to analyze candidate data for reporting purposes, utilizing tools like Excel and AI technology
  • A proactive, positive mindset with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening

Who we are
