Job description

Responsibilities
The Financial Optimization Liaison will serve as the connection between Finance, Operations, and Revenue Cycle Management with ownership of specific service lines within Norton Healthcare. They will be responsible for developing reporting, trending, modeling, and other analytical tools to identify opportunities, process improvements, and other system changes that will enhance financial performance. This position will communicate and monitor trends including, but not limited to, coding/charge capture, payer changes, payment variances, denials, and other meaningful metrics within each service line. The position leads business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality, and efficiency through report writing, analysis, business case development and data validation. They will function over both Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).
Qualifications
Required:
  • Three years of process improvement, project management, revenue cycle or healthcare administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree

Desired:
  • One year of resident, fellow, consulting, manage, financial analysis experience.
  • MBA, master's degree in healthcare administration, master's degree in public health
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
