 Must-Have:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in optical and/or electrical test engineering, with a focus on complex system-level test station development
  • Proven ability to guide multi-engineer projects from concept through production deployment.
  • Deep expertise in optical principles, photonic systems, and advanced testing methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in electrical design software and test automation frameworks

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience defining and scaling automated test equipment (ATE) platforms
  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Prior experience with RF and low-frequency PCB layout
  • Background in fixture and PCB thermal design
  • Experience influencing test strategy at a program or portfolio level
  • Architect and manage the design and technical roadmap for analog test station platforms, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Lead complex programs integrating test stations into hardware and systems infrastructure, defining key interfaces and milestones.
  • Establish test protocol frameworks to guarantee accuracy and compliance at production scale.
  • Utilize data-driven insights from test systems to influence product development and enhance yield improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging optical testing technologies and integrate industry advancements into platform strategies.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, leading design reviews and establishing technical best practices.
  • Oversee compliance and quality strategy for test systems, engaging with regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Product, Systems, and Manufacturing leadership to align testing capabilities with roadmap and production schedules.
