Crystal Eyecare is looking for an Optician to join our team in Cypress, Texas 77429!
SUMMARY: The Optician is responsible for helping patients select and fit eyewear that meets their vision needs and personal style preferences. This role combines customer service, technical expertise, and product knowledge to ensure patients receive accurate, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing eyewear. The Optician also assists with lens orders, adjustments, and repairs, and supports the overall operations of the optical department.
SCHEDULE:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 am - 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 10 am - 6 pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses that best suit their needs.
  • Provide detailed information on lens options and frame styles to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Conduct fittings and adjustments for eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with optometrists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest optical technologies and trends.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED
