Job Summary

We are seeking aย Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our System & Application Engineering team and support the deployment and integration of our LiDAR-based sensing products.ย 
In this role, you'll serve as the technical bridge between customers, business development, and engineering, ensuring our products perform flawlessly in real-world conditions.ย 

How will you make an impact?ย 

  • Analyze customer's needs and train customers on LiDAR operation and system analysis.ย 
  • Develop and deliver training, technical documentation, and best practice guides for customers and partners.ย 
  • Prepare and validate the product and the solution, including both hardware and software components, to ensure trouble-free on-site installation.ย 
  • Assist deployment, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure product performance meets customer requirements.ย 
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to solve technical problems.ย 
  • Document all findings clearly and communicate effectively across engineering and management teams.
  • Ensure field learnings are captured and shared to continuously improve product reliability and deployment efficiency.ย 
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights and improvement opportunities.

What qualifications and skills will make you succeed in this role?ย 

  • Bachelor's degree inย Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux and sensor integration.ย 
  • Strong learning ability and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Great communication and presentation skills.ย 
  • Must be comfortable working on-site with customers and in hands-on field environments.ย 
  • Willingness to travel domestically (up to 30%) for customer site visits, installations, and field support.ย

What is the Pay Range?
$70,000-$120,000
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Seyond. You may also be eligible for the sales incentive plan and equity.
