About The Team -Global Distribution

We have great investment solutions, but we need to get those solutions into the hands of our clients. To help us connect with our clients, we have created robust and varied distribution channels.The Global Distribution team manages our relationships with financial institutions, financial advisors, and financial intermediaries who offer our investment solutions to clients. They manage relationships with U.S. and Americas based intermediaries as well as intermediaries in Asia, the Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This team also manages relationships with individual investors, retirement plan sponsors, and participants. Global Distribution also works to develop new global distribution channels.

We have sales & client engagement internship opportunities available within the following businesses within Global Distribution.

U.S. Intermediaries (USI):

The US Intermediaries business (USI) distributes investment solutions to Financial Advisors, Home Offices and Platforms across the United States. We offer products designed to meet clients' needs including mutual funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Trusts/Sub-Advised and ETFs. The types of intermediaries that we partner with include broker/dealers, national and regional banks, registered investment advisors, platform service providers, large defined contribution recordkeepers, and insurance companies. Internship opportunities are within our integrated sales business. Cutting across both wealth and retirement, Integrated Sales drives commercial outcomes through internal partnerships, and (primarily) virtual client engagements.

Role Summary

TheT. Rowe Price internshipprogram includesa formalorientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department,interns alsogain exposure toassociates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, networkingand social events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups.

The Sales & Client Engagement Internship Programin USIoffers an in-depth look into the dynamics of client-facing rolesthrough participation in sit-insandproject work.The goal of the internshipis to enhance understanding ofthe business, broadenknowledge ofmarket insightsand industry trends, and familiarize interns with T. Rowe Price's products and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly research projects focused on distribution channels, products, strategies, market insights, clients, and industry trends.
  • Build and deliver concise presentations that translate research findings into practical insights for the team.
  • Analyze advisory and intermediary market dynamics, including client behavior and distribution partner needs.
  • Develop a grounded understanding of how financial advisors and platforms engage with T. Rowe Price solutions through handson exposure.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Full time student pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027- May/June 2028.
  • Open to all Majors including but not limited to Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, and Political Science
  • Strong interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
  • Interest in investing and following the markets
  • Agrowth mindset with commitment to ongoing learning of AI-augmented platforms

Preferred:

  • Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Interest in a career trajectory in sales/client management including obtaining Series 7 and 66 licenses upon graduation in alignment with a full-time role

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
