Title: Software Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX & Denver, New York, and Omaha

Duration: Contract to hire

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently on defined technology projects   and deliver high-quality software components.
  • Design, build, and maintain small tools and production features that improve system reliability and customer experience.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Angular.
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development as needed.
  • Conduct thoughtful and thorough code reviews to uphold team quality standards.
  • Solve moderately complex technical problems, identifying and navigating potential risks or roadblocks.
  • Communicate effectively within your team and with related partner teams.
  • Manage your own priorities and workstreams, demonstrating strong self-direction and organization.
  • Seek out mentorship opportunities and provide guidance to junior (L1) engineers when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience working full-stack across multiple technical domains
  • Experience working with product managers & tech leadership to determine requirements, designing solutions, writing code, writing tests, deploying changes, and support
  • Strong communication skill, ability to easily collaborate with rest of engineering team & cross-functional teams
  • Previous NodeJS experience is a must have 
  • Previous Typescript experience is a plus
