Job description

Job Title: Infra Ops Project Coordinator
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (X Days Onsite)
Job Type: Contract

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infra Ops Project Coordinator to support infrastructure and operations initiatives for our client. In this role, you will coordinate project activities across network, cloud, data center, security, and operational improvement programs, working closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple infrastructure and operations initiatives
  • Support project managers, program leads, and technical teams in executing projects
  • Maintain project plans, status reports, meeting documentation, action items, and schedules
  • Facilitate communication between infrastructure, security, application, vendor, and business stakeholders
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations ensuring timely resolution
  • Prepare project dashboards, KPI reports, executive summaries, and governance materials
  • Coordinate governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder updates
  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocations, and procurement activities
  • Assist in vendor coordination, contract tracking, onboarding, and delivery management
  • Support operational excellence initiatives and PMO best practices
Required Skills
  • X+ years of experience in project coordination, PMO support, or IT project management
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, network, security, or operations projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience maintaining project schedules, action logs, and RAID logs
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Preferred Skills
  • CAPM, PMP, Prince2 Foundation, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management frameworks
  • Experience supporting infrastructure transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise technology modernization
  • Knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change management processes
  • Experience in regulated, healthcare, or global enterprise environments
Location & Work Model
Sunnyvale, CA - X Days Onsite per week required.
Engagement Details
Contract engagement. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field required.
