Job description

Interactive College of Technology is currently seeking full-timeย Admissions Associatesย to enroll students at the North Houston Campus. If you like helping people get the education they need to change their lives and have prior Admissions or Inside Sales experience, this may be a great opportunity for you.

In this role, you will be responsible for presenting potential students with the information needed to make well-informed enrollment decisions by providing excellent customer service, listening to the needs and career aspirations of potential students, resolving all concerns and questions related to enrollment, and following the admissions process, policies, and procedures while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manages leads through follow-up calls, emails, mailings, texting, and other means to maximize the value of each lead in generating enrollments.
  • Arranges campus visits and conducts campus tours for prospective students.
  • Acts as the initial campus liaison between students and other departments including Financial Aid, Placement, and Academic Advisors.
  • Conducts student interviews according to policy, administers entrance and placement testing, and advises students regarding academic requirements.
  • Develops effective strategies for achieving enrollment success.
  • Completes enrollment files including test results, admissions documentation, and any required pre-enrollment conferences with the Academic Advisor to address previous education or competencies.
  • Develops leads through referrals and community outreach; interacts with members of the target community for the purpose of lead generation and institution branding.
  • Compiles weekly performance-based sales reports.
  • Represents the institution to individuals inquiring or interested in enrolling in the academic programs offered at ICT.
  • Successful experience in Sales, Recruiting, or high-level customer service
  • High-energy, positive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for education and learning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Some college experience preferred (2+ years)
  • Consistent work history that shows stability
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Good conversationalist and insightful
