Better Life Clinical Center, LLC is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our integrated care team in our Redmond office. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, taking a holistic view that factors in co-occurring medical conditions affecting emotional well-being.
  • Develop and execute integrated treatment plans that not only target psychiatric needs but also address associated medical challenges.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet each patientโ€™s unique situation and goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate care for patients in need.
  • Educate patients on the connections between mental health and overall physical well-being, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.
  • Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, contributing to a safe and effective practice.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary planning sessions, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in integrated care and best practices through continuous professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals battling complex mental health challenges intertwined with medical conditions. Your expertise will focus on treating patients with co-occurring disorders, offering them the integrated support necessary to improve their overall quality of life. You will help patients navigate their unique challenges and guide them toward healthier outcomes while building trusting therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • Demonstrable experience in addressing mental health needs for individuals with concurrent medical conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and patient connection.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other computer applications to document patient interactions and progress.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, contributing positively to the multidisciplinary approach of our clinic.
Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a mental health counselor are preferred. Familiarity with integrated care frameworks and evidence-based therapeutic techniques will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
