Position Overview

The Center for Minds and Emotions Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen, WA. This role offers the flexibility of both full-time and part-time positions, where you will provide essential counseling services to individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health challenges. Our ideal candidate will be committed to fostering healthier relationships and improved mental wellness through evidence-based therapeutic practices.

About the Organization

At the Center for Minds and Emotions Services, we are driven by a mission to enhance the mental health and emotional well-being of our clients. We provide a supportive and collaborative environment, allowing therapists to thrive while making a contribution to the community. Specializing in outpatient services, our facility is designed to be warm and welcoming, ensuring that all clients feel safe and supported. We pride ourselves on our progressive approaches to therapy and our emphasis on continuing education and professional development.

Work Environment

This position offers a largely remote work setting, which provides therapists with the convenience of conducting sessions from their own home or an outpatient office. Our virtual platform facilitates efficient therapy sessions, allowing you to connect easily with clients. The work environment is conducive to a good work-life balance, promoting flexibility in scheduling to accommodate personal life and professional obligations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with our organization, you will:

  • Establish a meaningful rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards their unique situations.
  • Perform thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, allowing for tailored treatment plans that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Lead therapeutic sessions, both individually and in group formats, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, and other mental health concerns.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and systemic approaches, ensuring that each patient's treatment plan is dynamic and responsive.
  • Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on the ongoing assessments of patient progress, ensuring that interventions are effective and timely.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on serving a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults. You will work with individuals facing various challenges such as relationship difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression, and family dynamics. Your expertise will empower clients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and foster healthier relationships.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, candidates must possess:

  • An active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, allowing for the legal practice of therapy in Washington State.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field with substantial clinical training.
  • Demonstrated experience in both individual and group therapy settings, showcasing a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records effectively and juggle administrative tasks without compromising the therapy experience.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates who have:

  • Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic or community mental health setting.
  • A history of engagement with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms to facilitate seamless client interactions.
Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and commitment to mental health care, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Additionally, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and wellness.
  • Professional liability insurance, ensuring peace of mind as you practice.
  • A retirement savings plan with company matching contributions to help you build a secure financial future.
  • A flexible work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance, including the opportunity to work from home.
  • Unlimited referrals to grow your client base and maximize your impact in the community.
Career Growth Opportunities

As a part of our team, you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, training sessions, and networking events. We encourage our therapists to pursue additional certifications and specialties that resonate with their passions and career goals, fostering an enriching career trajectory.

Why Join Our Team

If you are a licensed mental health therapist with a fervent desire to help clients navigate their emotional and relational challenges, we invite you to submit your resume. Joining the Center for Minds and Emotions Services means being part of a compassionate, innovative organization that values your expertise and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.
