The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

About the Organization

Crossroad Behavioral Health Clinic is a prominent community mental health center located in Chicago, Illinois. Our mission is to enhance emotional well-being and personal growth through high-quality mental health services. We are committed to serving diverse populations, particularly those who face barriers to accessing care, and pride ourselves on our compassionate, client-centered approach.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in balancing professional responsibilities with personal life. While most interactions will occur virtually, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care. This setting emphasizes modern therapeutic practices, along with cutting-edge telehealth technologies, streamlining our ability to support clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) software, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams, actively contributing to case discussions to improve overall client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Many of our clients are underserved individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. As an LCPC, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care tailored to the unique experiences and challenges of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LCPC licensure, allowing you to practice in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is necessary for success in this role.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is essential.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and related technologies to manage client information and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage is provided.
  • Access to client referrals to help expand your practice.
  • Support with billing and documentation to reduce administrative workload, enabling more focus on clinical care.
  • A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with details discussed during the interview process.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Crossroad Behavioral Health Clinic opens doors to numerous professional development opportunities. You will have access to training programs, workshops, and potential pathways for career advancement within our organization. As we continue to expand our services, there may be opportunities for leadership roles and specialized clinical positions.

Why Join Our Team
