Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the unique needs of children with disabilities or developmental delays.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they are tailored to each child's requirements.
• Monitor progress and outcomes regularly, facilitating necessary adjustments to treatment plans and maintaining open lines of communication among team members.
• Provide direct support and guidance to families, empowering them to engage with their children in focused, developmental activities.
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations while documenting services accurately and comprehensively.
• Develop strong rapport with children and families, fostering a supportive and enriching environment conducive to learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young children, particularly infants and toddlers, who require early intervention services due to developmental challenges. You will be working closely with families to facilitate their child’s progress in critical areas such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Understanding each child's uniqueness and working within the family’s dynamics is essential to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work is required for this position.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is necessary as it may be required for some in-home visits or community outreach.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working specifically with children within early intervention contexts, demonstrating a deep understanding of developmental delays.
• Experience working with diverse learning styles and adapting interventions to meet individual children's needs as outlined in their personalized treatment plans.
• A commitment to and knowledge of Natural Learning Environment Practices, which emphasize family-centered and play-based interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
