Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional and psychological needs, ensuring that you create effective and personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to guide individuals, couples, and families toward improved mental health.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups to provide patients with information and support on prevalent mental health issues while promoting a sense of community.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary team members to implement coordinated and holistic care solutions for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, harnessing your expertise to deliver immediate support during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring a thorough record of all patient interactions and treatment progress.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve supporting clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. We serve a diverse patient demographic across all age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and culturally competent care tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on in-depth mental health assessments.
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy to a wide array of populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
  • Sound judgment along with strict adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions effectively.
  • A collaborative attitude, capable of functioning well in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates should have prior experience working in outpatient mental health settings, as well as familiarity with community health resources in the Corpus Christi area. Experience in facilitating psychoeducational groups or providing crisis intervention services is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
