Work Environment

As part of a dynamic hospice center based in Peoria, Arizona, you will operate in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children under the age of three, employing observation and interviewing techniques to gather crucial developmental information.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to define goals and strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs.
• Monitor developmental outcomes through consistent follow-ups and reassessments, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continued progress and alignment with family goals.
• Deliver early intervention support to families, educating them about developmental milestones and strategies that can reinforce their child's learning in a home environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations regarding child welfare and mental health practices, maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice.
• Build rapport with children and their families, fostering trust and ensuring that each interaction is founded on respect and dignity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and the service provided is crucial during the critical first three years of life, where interventions can significantly enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills. As an LCSW, you will be instrumental in guiding families through their challenges, offering support that positively impacts their child’s development.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as mandated by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license is required for potential travel to client locations, if necessary.
• Demonstrated experience working with children in early intervention settings, particularly involving tailored treatment plans.
• A commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance developmental outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience working with children and families, ideally in early intervention or related fields.
• Proficiency in adapting approaches based on various learning styles and needs, ensuring every child receives the attention and methods that best suit them.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare and education professionals in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits
