Position Overview

Crimson Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a full-time or part-time mental health counselor. Work Environment

This position is designed for an outpatient setting, allowing LPCs to work remotely while engaging with clients in various community-based environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to tailor care plans that align with individual client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and treatment plans.
  • Provide supervisors with a schedule of appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities to support client care coordination.
  • Coordinate home visits for in-home observations, chart reviews, and interviews to gather comprehensive client data.
  • Implement and assess the efficacy of the program plan, ensuring seamless integration of therapeutic strategies.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights that enhance overall client outcomes.
  • Complete and document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client development and program effectiveness.
  • Organize training sessions to certify staff members in effective program plan implementation and documentation practices.
  • Facilitate follow-up interviews and home visits as needed to address ongoing client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records to ensure that information is available for authorized personnel.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community to support their development goals.
  • Assist in creating training materials to continuously improve service delivery and program offerings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required, demonstrating the ability to handle diverse client needs effectively.
  • A specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma treatment is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is advantageous.
