Work Environment

This position is designed for counselors to work remotely, allowing flexibility and comfort in managing sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health conditions, crafting personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), tailoring approaches to fit each individual.
  • Regularly collaborate with clients to assess progress, adjust therapeutic goals, and implement necessary changes in treatment plans.
  • Provide teletherapy sessions for clients who may face accessibility challenges or prefer virtual sessions, ensuring consistent care regardless of location.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of client interactions, evaluations, and treatment progress to meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to expand your knowledge, clinical skills, and stay abreast of emerging practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will vary widely, offering you the chance to work with individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We emphasize a culturally competent approach, ensuring that care is sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, fostering a safe and open therapeutic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effectively engaging with clients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, enabling you to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of clinical issues.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR) encompasses knowledge of both technological and ethical considerations in the delivery of remote mental health services.
  • A strong commitment to ethical practice and safeguarding client confidentiality.
