Gather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements.
Perform data captures to obtain network performance information.
Develop model modules and engineering solutions using networking and/or telecommunications technologies and systems.
Analyze modeling questions to determine technical modeling approaches.
Perform high-level design of the models, specifying system and component performances and interface requirements.
Define specific procedures to be used to solve technical problems.
Serve as the technical lead of an integrated team of modelers and network engineers developing models of networks.
Ensure there are clear specifications statements to guide the work of the team.
Develop test procedures to ensure model verification with specifications or standards
Ensure the completion of the model verification reports
Deep Understanding of BGP and routing protocols and topologies, experience with Opnet/NetPlanner is desired

Flexible Work Schedules As required by local law, Applied Network Solutions, Inc. provides reasonable salary ranges of compensation for work performed in applicable states. Ranges are not a guarantee of compensation and depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to contractual requirements, work location, years of experience, skill set, and education.
