Job description

Data Collector/ Public Opinion Surveyor

Are you a reliable, outgoing and personable person? Are you looking for a short-term job that will get you some extra cash for the upcoming holidays? Are you looking for weekends off, a flexible schedule, and potential bonus compensation?

If your answers to the above questions is "YES" then this opportunity it right for you!

Job Functions:

  • Collect information from bus riders to secure their opinions on a variety of topics via paper surveying and tablet interviewing
  • Distribute/collect surveys, and interviewing/assisting people in completing a public transportation survey
  • Record information including time, passenger refusals, and overall passenger counts

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Minimum Education -- HS Diploma or GED
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Be able to carry/lift 10 lbs
  • Be able to speak clearly, communicate effectively and read with corrected vision
  • Strong customer service skills and be self-motivated
  • Be able to follow written and oral directions
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
