Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Operator Trainee to assist in the setup and operation of corrugated production machinery. This position supports machine operators with daily production tasks, machine preparation, material handling, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, Day and night shifts available.
(Potential Saturday overtime available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operator with machine setup, including:
    • Slotting knives
    • Heads
    • Feed section
    • Print plates
    • Die-cut tooling
  • Help mount printing plates and cutting dies as needed
  • Ink machines and assist with adjusting ink properties using approved chemicals
  • Clean printing plates and production equipment
  • Feed corrugated sheets into the machine
  • Remove strapping from corrugated bales
  • Lift and move pallets as needed
  • Assist with machine cleaning and general housekeeping duties
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

  • Cold glue
  • Silicone spray
  • Water-based flexographic ink
  • pH adjuster
  • Antifoam
  • Myer Ameri-clear

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Previous machinery or manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Must have own steel-toed boots
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
