Job Summary
We are seeking a Equipment Operator to join our team! As a Equipment Operator, This position is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment used in tree removal, landscaping, clearing, excavation, and property maintenance projects. The ideal candidate has experience operating equipment safely and efficiently while working as part of a professional crew.
You will also be maintaining the integrity of the equipment you use, making minor repairs to keep everything running, and maintaining a high level of safety in the workplace. 

Responsibilities 
  • Safely operate heavy equipment including:
    • Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Grapple Trucks, Loaders, and other tree service equipment.
  • Set up all equipment and make adjustments as needed
  • Conduct any preventative maintenance needed for each machine
  • Repair minor issues with machinery, and make reports on major mechanical problems
  • Read and understand job specifications and work plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Assist with tree removals, storm cleanup, land clearing, and right-of-way work.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
  • Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with mechanics, large machinery, and construction.
  • Ability to use hand tools to perform proper maintenance and upkeep of machines 
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • CDL preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
