1-2 years of forklift experience

Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

Ability to communicate effectively

Willing to work overtime if needed

Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision

May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs

Responsibilities


As a Forklift Operator , you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers

Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site!

You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations

This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times

Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required

Maintain a clean & safe working environment

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions

Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
